KOTOBUKIYA (Japan) will release a new product based on the popular "Sky Striker" archetype to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game – the "Sky Striker Ace - Kagari" (閃刀姫─カガリ) 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. Pre-orders are exclusively available at the Yu-Gi-Oh! 25th Anniversary Kaiba Corporation themed online store and KOTOBUKIYA's official website. The suggested retail price is 36,800 JPY, with an estimated release date of June 2025!
The "Sky Striker" archetype first appeared in the OCG booster pack series "Deck Build Pack: Dark Savers." It is characterized by its extensive use of Spell Cards, exquisite artwork, and versatile tactics, making it highly popular among players. It also became the protagonist of the first arc in the manga "Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories," which began serialization in 2022.
Following the previous "Sky Striker Ace - Raye" and "Sky Striker Ace - Roze," this "Sky Striker Ace - Kagari" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 40 cm tall. It is based on the alternate art illustration, bringing to life her "Flash Annihilation Mode," a polar assault type used to eliminate enemies. Maintaining the same scale as the previous two figures, it captures the proud expression from the illustration as she wields a greatsword, along with the dynamic flow of her hair. The flame effects spread across her armor and sword tip create a vibrant visual impact. The orange-red gradient paintwork powerfully conveys a scorching atmosphere, exuding a formidable aura that surpasses both Raye and Roze!
