Hong Kong toy company STORM COLLECTIBLES, known for releasing numerous action figures of game and comic characters, is once again launching a new product based on the popular fighting game "Street Fighter 6" after "Ryu" – the "Zangief" 1/12 scale action figure. The suggested retail price is US$95, with an estimated shipping date in Q2 2025!
Zangief first appeared in "Street Fighter II" as a giant professional wrestler from Russia, known by the moniker "Red Cyclone." He champions the unique theory that muscles are supreme and is dedicated to physical evolution and mentoring younger wrestlers. Fans are undoubtedly familiar with his massive physique and his signature move, the "Screw Piledriver," which delivers a bomb-like impact!
Following the previously released versions from "Ultimate Street Fighter II" and "Street Fighter V", STORM COLLECTIBLES is now releasing Zangief for the third time, featuring his "Street Fighter 6" appearance. This version is more realistic in proportion compared to the previous two, meticulously sculpting his burly physique, robust muscular lines, and explosive chest hair. Details such as the wrinkles on his wrestling trunks and his iconic scars are also faithfully reproduced. The elbow pads on his arms are made of fabric, and a pearlescent paint finish is used to give the sides of his wrestling trunks a high-quality, satin-like texture! Accessories include four interchangeable head sculpts, eight sets of interchangeable hands, and whirlwind effects for his "Double Lariat" move. Coupled with flexible articulation, posing him with other figures can recreate various in-game combat actions!
