World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys announced yesterday (27th) the latest product from "Alien: Romulus", the "Alien" (Scorched Xenomorph) 1/6th scale collectible figure! Expected to ship from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026, with a suggested retail price of HKD 1,930.
The latest installment in the "Alien" series for 2024, "Alien: Romulus," is set in 2142, between "Alien" and "Aliens," twenty years after Ripley and her crew traveled to planet "LV-426" (in 2122). The story follows the protagonist Rain, who, along with her brother Andy (whose true identity is an android) and a team led by her old acquaintance Tyler, ventures to the abandoned Romulus space station. Their original intention was merely to steal highly restricted equipment located there, but they unexpectedly encounter the universe's most lethal apex predator...
This 1/6th scale three-dimensional adult Xenomorph stands approximately 44 cm tall and features 20 points of articulation throughout its body, recreating the terrifying body details of this deadly predator, including its iconic domed head, deeply sculpted exoskeleton, tubular structures on its back, and a tail resembling a human spine. The layered painting technique gives this Xenomorph a wet appearance under light, further enhancing its terrifying aura. A major highlight is the head, crafted from translucent material, allowing a glimpse of the internal skull structure. Coupled with the included battle-damaged dome shell and the retractable inner jaw, you can perfectly capture the moment the Xenomorph attacks its prey.
Accessories also include multiple interchangeable hands, a mini-sized, highly organic Facehugger (with 4 points of articulation), and a discarded space station base with built-in LED light-up function.
