Following multiple Cell products in its popular "Dragon Ball Arise" series, based on the popular anime and manga "Dragon Ball," Japanese company PLEX will once again release the latest "Cell Explosion Ver." PVC painted finished product! The suggested retail price is 39,600 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in March 2025.
Cell (セル), one of the classic villains from the Android Saga in "Dragon Ball Z," is the perfect Android created by Dr. Gero using mechanical bees to collect the body cells of various elites: Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza, and others. He possesses Namekian regeneration abilities, the Saiyan ability to greatly increase combat power after recovering from near-death, and can absorb life forms through his needle-tipped tail to gain energy.
The "Dragon Ball Arise Cell Explosion Ver." PVC painted finished product takes Cell, cornered by Gohan and attempting to self-destruct with the Earth, as its motif. With a substantial size of 35 cm wide and 30 cm deep, it recreates his swollen and powerful appearance! The spots on his body and the red blood vessels in his eyes are delicately rendered, and shadow painting is applied to enhance the overall three-dimensionality. It faithfully reproduces his plump, smiling face and massive orange belly, conveying the imminent sense of explosion!
Purchasing from the online store ZEEM includes a limited bonus: a kneeling Gohan. Displaying them together further emphasizes Cell's immense oppressive presence!
