Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced the latest product in their everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien," featuring "Ema Koishikawa [St. Iris Girls' Academy High School - Winter Uniform]," slated for release in May 2025.
Ema Koishikawa, a student at St. Iris Girls' Academy High School, is a petite and adorable girl standing at only 140 cm tall, though she becomes quite displeased when praised for being "small and cute." She has a capricious and rather arrogant personality, making her a "super sensitive princess" who is not very good at interacting with others. Ema loves games, anime, tokusatsu, and due to her small stature, she greatly admires huge and cool characters like monsters and robots. She dreams of becoming an excellent illustrator, known as a "divine artist."
The "Ema Koishikawa [St. Iris Girls' Academy High School - Winter Uniform]" kit is also based on a small, articulated body standing at just 14 cm tall. It not only uses new parts to recreate the winter uniform design but also includes 4 types of pre-printed new face parts, a new body part for a leaning forward pose, and new sitting parts for the winter uniform. Accessories include a tablet, a drawing tablet, a St. Iris Girls' Academy school bag, and 5 types of hair ornaments.
In addition to the "standard" and "flowing" skirt parts included with the summer uniform, two new types, "spread" and "sitting," have been added. The hairstyles and interchangeable hand parts are the same as the summer uniform version, including 11 pairs of different hand poses, as well as "wavy long hair," "twin tails," and "bun" hairstyles. Combined with the various new elements of the winter uniform, these allow for even richer and cuter everyday scenes of Ema Koishikawa to be recreated.
