Japan's GOODSMILE COMPANY's plastic model kit series "MODEROID" will release the 5th item in the "Ryuknight Collection Series", based on the classic 1994 anime "Lord of Lords: Ryuknight", in July 2025: Ryupaladin Lord Zephyr, priced at 7,900 JPY.
"Lord of Lords: Ryuknight" (覇王大系リューナイト) was produced by SUNRISE and aired on TV Tokyo in 1994, comprising 52 episodes. Three OVA works were subsequently released. The story follows the protagonist, Adeu (アデュー), an apprentice knight who constantly speaks of chivalry and is traveling to become a true knight. He possesses the ability to summon "Ryuknights" using cards. During his journey, he encounters Paffy (パッフィー) and others who are also heading to Astelia, and they form a party, thus beginning their adventure.
The "Ryuknight Series" (リューナイトコレクション) from MODEROID now presents its 5th entry, featuring the new form of protagonist Adeu's original Ryuknight Zephyr after a power-up and job change: the "Ryupaladin Lord Zephyr," standing approximately 13 cm tall. Included accessories are the prominent "Spirit Stone Sword" and shield. The shield's transformation mechanism is fully reproduced, allowing it to be held separately or combined with the sword. For the outer cape and tail parts, both anime and manga versions are available for selection. Additionally, multiple sets of interchangeable hand parts are included to recreate various poses from the original work.
