Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division is releasing a new product based on the popular national anime "Crayon Shin-chan" – the "Crayon Shin-chan Character Grimace 2" (tentative title) Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per turn, and it is scheduled to launch in the second week of December 2024!
The "Character Grimace" (きゃらっぷっ) series creates grimacing poses for various popular characters. Following the first wave which featured the five members of the Kasukabe Defense Force, this new release includes Shin-chan in his Futaba Kindergarten uniform, a grumpy Himawari, a puckering Shiro, a tongue-out Ai-chan, and a flustered-looking Mr. Kuroiso. Each character's grimace is incredibly lively, especially Shiro's puckered lips, which are super cute! The unique expressions of the characters combined with Mr. Kuroiso's frantic look make the entire scene incredibly amusing!
