Danish toy company LEGO recently announced its latest product from "Harry Potter," item number 76444, the "Diagon Alley™ Wizarding Shops"! It is scheduled for release on January 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$199.99.
Within the LEGO Harry Potter product lineup, the bustling and prosperous Diagon Alley has always been an iconic and popular theme. In addition to the 2011 "10217 Diagon Alley," the exquisite "40289 Diagon Alley" with only a few hundred pieces, and the impressive one-meter-long "75978 Diagon Alley" once assembled, we are now welcoming a brand new micro-scale Diagon Alley!
This new version, item number 76444, contains a total of 2750 pieces. Once assembled, it stands approximately 14 cm tall, and when displayed as a long row of buildings, it boasts an impressive length of 88 cm, making it another remarkably striking creation! Furthermore, as shown in the official images, there are at least three display options. I personally love the compact double-sided street; just looking at it feels incredibly rich in detail and immensely satisfying!
In this set, toy enthusiasts will be able to personally build micro-scale versions of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour, Ollivanders™ Wand Shop, Eeylops Owl Emporium, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, The Leaky Cauldron, and The Daily Prophet offices, among others. Coupled with the eye-catching purple Knight Bus and a total of 12 micro-scale minifigure characters, this Diagon Alley becomes even more enjoyable! It's also quite rewarding to appreciate the brick-building and color composition that the designers have infused into the limited space.
▼ Minifigure lineup, including Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, Lavender Brown, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy™, Narcissa Malfoy, Mr. Borgin, and others.
