Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO has announced a new "Masters of the Universe" themed product: the "Buzz-Off" 1/6 scale collectible figure. With a suggested retail price of US$265, the Timed Edition will be available for pre-order on the MONDO official website from December 10, 2024, to December 20, 2024, 11:59 PM CST, with estimated shipping in May 2025!
Buzz-Off first appeared in the classic toy line series in 1984. Initially advertised as the "Heroic Spy in the Sky," he served as a spy for He-Man and the heroic warriors of Eternia. He often appeared alongside another hero, Mekaneck, in various works.
This Buzz-Off 1/6 scale collectible figure stands approximately 30.4 cm tall. The design draws inspiration from the classic toy line released in 1983, the 200x series rebooted with the animation in 2002, and even later series designs, transforming Buzz-Off into a handsome, armored figure. The sculpting showcases intricate details of armor covering his lean, muscular physique, while the biological feel of the compound eyes on the head appears more realistic. The spikes and rough textures significantly enhance the overall sophistication!
Accessories include four interchangeable head sculpts, featuring the classic toy line design, along with weapons such as a battle axe, spear, long gun, and shield. Interchangeable hand parts, including open palms and classic claws, are also included. The overall mix of matte and pearlescent paint, combined with translucent wings, exudes an extraordinary aura under light!
