From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts" announces its latest product from the newest anime "Dragon Ball: DAIMA" – the "S.H.Figuarts King Goma" action figure! The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2025!
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball series, the new anime "Dragon Ball: DAIMA" (Dragon Ball Great Demon) features a plot and character designs personally crafted by Akira Toriyama during his lifetime. It began airing in October 2024. The story tells of how Goku and his companions are transformed back into their childhood forms after the new King of the Demon Realm, Goma, makes a wish to Shenron! To restore their original lives, Goku once again wields his Power Pole and embarks on an adventure to the Demon Realm with new allies such as Glorio and Panji!
The "S.H.Figuarts King Goma" action figure stands approximately 75 mm tall, adorably recreating King Goma's diamond-shaped head and fiery red lips! The abdomen utilizes soft material combined with an articulated structure, allowing for flexible posing such as spreading the legs or crossing them. The cape around the shoulders also uses soft parts, and with a movable axis at the bottom of the cape, it can be posed as if fluttering upwards. Furthermore, interchangeable arm parts are included to recreate the majestic crossed-arms pose! In addition to the "smiling face" included with the main body, "glaring face" and "gritting teeth face" expression parts are also included, along with a laughing face and a surprised face, allowing for a wide range of expressions to be enjoyed!
As bonus parts, three types of Power Pole accessories are included, which can be used with the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Kid Goku -DAIMA-"! These include an extended Power Pole approximately 140 mm in length, a bent-effect Power Pole, and a Power Pole recreating a spinning state, allowing for even more dynamic battle scenes!
