Negotiations are currently underway for the original cast to reprise their roles, including Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner as the in-laws, and Teri Polo and Ben Stiller as the on-screen couple. While there's no official word yet on the return of other key cast members like Owen Wilson, Dustin Hoffman, and Barbra Streisand (who played the in-laws' parents), they are widely expected to rejoin the ensemble.
