Following the release of "Dranzer S" and "Driger S," the latest generation of competitive toys, "BEYBLADE X," from Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, is set to release the "Draciel Shield S" (ドラシエルシールド) on December 28th! The suggested retail price is 1,600 JPY (tax included).
TAKARA TOMY's Beyblade X series, representing the fourth generation of Beyblade toys, features a jagged design on both the Beyblade's axis structure and the inner wall of the stadium. Once they interlock, they activate the super-acceleration function "X-DASH," making the intense Beyblade battles even more immersive and creating a street competition that captivates the attention of all onlookers!
Draciel, the Beyblade used by the blonde boy "Max Mizuhara" in "Beyblade," is renowned for its exceptional defense, in addition to its classic green appearance. This includes the "Iron Ball Defense Mechanism" which enhances stability, and its durability, capable of withstanding Dranzer's "Spin Fire Blast" with counter-rotation. Its corresponding Sacred Beast is "Genbu" (the Black Tortoise).
This iteration of Draciel Shield S, incorporating the latest BEYBLADE X technology, fully reproduces Genbu's Sacred Beast emblem and stickers on its steel blade components, along with sharp points designed for counter-attacks after receiving blows. The Lock Wheel also features a vertical seven-blade design, prioritizing defensive performance. On the axis part, multiple small protrusions can be observed, whose purpose is to increase friction with the stadium, making it a design that is difficult to be knocked away even when attacked.
