Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced that the second product in its pre-painted, pre-assembled model kit series 'P3', "Stiletto" from Kotobukiya's own 'FRAME ARMS GIRL' model kit line, is scheduled for release in May 2025.
Kotobukiya is making a bold new venture with its own model kit products, launching the 'P3' series of pre-painted, pre-assembled (PLAMODEL) finished models. Each part is pre-assembled and then painted with the same colors as the "photographic painted sample" shown in the official product images. Even the markings on various parts of the body are reproduced using transfer printing, allowing collectors to obtain a quality that looks as if it were meticulously crafted by a professional modeler, right out of the box. Future plans also include model products beyond the 'Frame Arms Girl' line.
The kit used for this "P3 Stiletto" is the excellent "Stiletto XF-3" kit previously released. The main body parts have been processed to 'P3' specifications as a pre-painted finished model, featuring 3 pre-printed interchangeable facial expressions, as well as improved flexible articulation in areas such as the shoulders, hips, and thighs. It also boasts colors for the skin and armor, and some body markings that are even closer to the sample images. Even the underwear stripes, which were originally somewhat difficult to apply with stickers, are now pre-painted.
