Japanese animation studio TRIGGER recently released the Blu-ray disc for the popular video game adaptation, "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners." As a limited edition bonus, it will include the "Lucy: Spacesuit Ver." posable figure, a "Nendoroid" series product from GOODSMILE COMPANY, which has released over a thousand characters! The complete set has a suggested retail price of 39,380 JPY and is now available for pre-order on their official website, with an estimated release date of May 28, 2025!
"Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" is a spin-off anime series produced by TRIGGER animation studio for CD Projekt RED's game "Cyberpunk 2077." It tells the story of David Martinez, a protagonist from a poor background, who, after his mother's death, is taken in by a crew of edgerunners led by Maine, as he seeks a way to survive in a world of excessive technological advancement.
Netrunner Lucy serendipitously introduces protagonist David to the world of edgerunners after he loses everything. The romance that develops between them throughout the series makes its brilliant ending even more poignant. This "Lucy: Spacesuit Ver." adopts the design of Lucy wearing her spacesuit in the series finale when she fulfills her dream of going to the moon alone. The Nendoroid's adorable proportions faithfully recreate various details of the outfit. The yellow transparent visor is detachable, and an interchangeable surprised expression part is included, which can be combined with the previously released David Nendoroid to recreate the scene where he sees a phantom on the moon!
In addition to the Nendoroid, this bonus set also includes the complete storyboard for the final episode by director Imaishi, animation cel sheets, and a visual poster commemorating the second anniversary of its broadcast. Toy enthusiasts who love "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" should not miss this opportunity to own such an excellent collectible!
