Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY has announced the latest product from "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" within their popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products: the "Nendoroid Aura the Guillotine" articulated figure. It has a suggested retail price of 7,700 JPY and is scheduled for release in June 2025.
In "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," Aura, one of the Seven Sages of Destruction of the Demon King's Army, is a powerful demon who has lived for over 500 years. She possesses the magical item "Scales of Obedience." By placing her own soul and the opponent's soul on the scales, the one with higher magical power can activate the Obedience Magic, forcing the other to obey until their body decays. To prevent those under her control from resisting with their mental strength, Aura beheads all her subordinates and uses them as her army, earning her the title "the Guillotine."
The "Nendoroid Aura the Guillotine" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Aura's distinctive loose twin braids in Nendoroid's chibi proportion. The accessories on her body feature metallic-textured paintwork, and her cute yet sinister eyes are utterly captivating! It also comes with three interchangeable face plates: a dumbfounded "Confused Face" and a tearful "Despair Face." Accessories include the Scales of Obedience and her sword for self-decapitation, allowing fans to recreate iconic scenes from the series!
