In January of this year, 2024, the Danish LEGO toy company released set number 76964, the "Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull." Now, on the upcoming January 1, 2025, we will welcome another fossil model LEGO set, the "76969 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops Skull"! The suggested retail price is US$44.99.
This set contains a total of 468 pieces. Once assembled, you will get a 22 cm tall Triceratops skull fossil model (with a rock base), a mini Triceratops fossil, excavation tools, a wooden-colored excavation site plaque, an information plate, as well as an "amber" piece encasing a mosquito, and a LEGO minifigure wearing a Jurassic Park-themed logo shirt. The most striking Triceratops skull features a primary color scheme of sand and brown. In addition to meticulously outlining the bone structure and the highly prominent frill, the eye-catching horn pieces are reminiscent of the large horns of the Hercules Beetle from "21342 The Insect Collection." This time, we get two of them at once! The overall display is quite impressive.
