Luxembourgish modeling brand Tsume-Art, known for producing high-quality statues based on Japanese anime and manga characters, announced its latest product yesterday (19th) from the "HQS DIORAMAX" series: the "SUPER SAIYAN 3 GOTENKS" 1/6 scale diorama statue, based on "Dragon Ball Z"! Shipping is estimated to begin from Q4 2025 to Q2 2026, with a suggested retail price of 1,040.83 Euros, limited to 800 units.
Gotenks is a new form created by the fusion of "Goten" and "Trunks" to defeat Majin Buu. Although incredibly powerful, his personality combines Saiyan arrogance with the mischievousness of two kids, making it more than the sum of its parts. He once boasted he would defeat Majin Buu and bring back his corpse within 30 minutes, only to get beaten black and blue. Later, to escape the Hyperbolic Time Chamber after its entrance was destroyed, Gotenks transformed into Super Saiyan 3, creating a large hole in the alternate dimension and successfully escaping with Piccolo. He possesses techniques like the "Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack," which have more entertainment value than actual destructive power, and he has more than just one such move.
The "HQS DIORAMAX Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks" stands approximately 54 cm tall and is crafted from polyresin and metal materials. It depicts Gotenks charging forward with the seven Kamikaze Ghosts he "spits" out. Gotenks himself features thick, striking golden long hair, with lightning effects surrounding his body. His muscular physique and clothing wrinkles are meticulously sculpted, and his confident smile is perfectly captured. Each Kamikaze Ghost displays lively and amusing expressions with gradient paintwork. Coupled with the exquisitely detailed base, the explosive water effects that enhance the overall visual tension, and the LED lighting function located in the base, it's truly impressive!
