BANDAI CANDY, the shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has officially announced the lineup for the latest 27th installment of its popular shokugan series, 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #'. The product, 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #27', is scheduled for release in June 2025.
'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #' is a shokugan product series that transforms mobile suits from the 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series into 55mm tall, low-head-to-body ratio SD figures, boasting sharp, cool designs and high-density details. In addition to the protagonist mobile suit 'GQuuuuuuX' from the previously announced new anime 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX', this release will also feature popular mobile suits such as Z'Gok (SEED FREEDOM Ver.), Char's High Mobility Zaku II, Gundam Sandrock, Gelgoog Cannon, and Gelgoog Cannon (Johnny Ridden's Custom).
Each mobile suit also includes its dedicated interchangeable weaponry, showcasing the unique worldview of each respective series. Notably, both 'GQuuuuuuX' and 'Char's High Mobility Zaku II' additionally include a 'Heat Hawk', a signature weapon of Zaku-type mobile suits. Displaying both mobile suits in the same image inevitably brings to mind the discussion surrounding 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX' being set in a Universal Century parallel world.
