American toy brand SUPER7 today (7th) officially announced the latest Toho-themed addition to its "ReAction Figures" carded toy series: "Godzilla '65 (Victory Celebration Pose) Glow-in-the-Dark"! It is currently available for purchase on the SUPER7 official website, with a suggested retail price of US$20.
This Godzilla's design is from the 1965 film "Invasion of Astro-Monster" (also known as "Monster Zero"), depicting Godzilla's joyful leaping celebration pose after defeating his formidable foe, King Ghidorah. This carded Godzilla figure stands at 4.7 inches (approximately 11.9 cm). In addition to the glow-in-the-dark feature that toy collectors adore, it also boasts metallic-lustre gold paint applications on the chest, abdomen, knees, claws, and dorsal fins, giving it a truly magnificent appearance! Of course, the best part is the dynamic recreation of the victory celebration dance~ If you unpackage it to play, you can even use Godzilla's tail to prop it up, which is super cute!
▼ The back of the card also features the movie poster for "Invasion of Astro-Monster," the sixth film in the Godzilla series.
