Japanese watchmaking giant SEIKO has a solid track record of teaming up with various ACG (Anime, Comics, Games) IPs to drop some seriously stylish timepieces, always much to the delight of fans.
Now, the official word is out: they're joining forces with the popular free-to-play collectible card browser game, Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-, developed by Nitro+ and operated by DMM. This new collab features a watch themed around the fan-favorite character, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro! Priced at 43,780 JPY, pre-orders are already live on Japan's PREMICO website.
In Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro appears as a blonde bishonen, often seen draped in a white, sheet-like hooded cloak, earning him the affectionate nickname "Sheet Boy" from players. He's said to be a uchigatana crafted in imitation of the legendary sword "Yamanbagiri." Self-conscious about being a copy, he dislikes compliments on his appearance and deliberately wears worn-out clothes.
The watch face itself is a tribute to Yamanbagiri Kunihiro's iconic costume design, serving as the background. At the 12 o'clock position, you'll spot the decorative ribbon pattern from his outfit, while the 6 o'clock mark features his exclusive Touken Danshi crest. And get this—the second hand is shaped like a sword!
The white genuine leather strap perfectly symbolizes his signature white hooded cloak, with a vibrant orange on the underside.
The case back also proudly displays the exclusive Touken Danshi crest, along with a unique serial number for each individual watch.
