Since its debut, Houbunsha's anime "Bocchi the Rock!" has exploded in popularity and sparked endless discussion. Even after its first season wrapped, the hype hasn't died down, with last year's compilation film drawing massive crowds and fans eagerly awaiting news of a second season.
"Bocchi the Rock!" has previously teamed up with Sony for exclusive collaborations, including a Walkman, true wireless earbuds, and wireless noise-canceling headphones, all of which were snatched up by fans in a flash. Now, for their fourth collaboration, they're dropping a flagship Xperia 1 VI SIM-Free smartphone, inspired by the one and only Hitori Gotoh (Bocchi) and Kessoku Band! This official store exclusive is now available for pre-order, priced at 194,700 JPY.
The collaboration offers two distinct designs: the black model features an exclusive engraving of protagonist Hitori Gotoh and her guitar on the back, while the khaki green model showcases a unique engraving of all four Kessoku Band members. Note that the color and engraving designs are fixed pairings and cannot be changed.
Purchasing the Xperia 1 VI also nets you five exclusive "Bocchi the Rock!" themed wallpapers.
The Xperia 1 VI is Sony's flagship smartphone, boasting an optical zoom lens with a versatile focal length range of 85mm to 170mm. This optical zoom excels at capturing natural skin tones and expressions in portraits, delivering professional-grade shots with beautiful, soft bokeh.
What's more, the phone packs the "Exmor T for mobile" image sensor, renowned for its stellar low-light performance, and leverages AI technology to boost autofocus (AF) precision. It also integrates "Powered by BRAVIA™" display technology, straight from BRAVIA® TVs, which uses AI-driven image quality adjustments to bring TV-level visuals to the Xperia™ screen. These cutting-edge features combine to deliver a superior photography and viewing experience.
Under the hood, a high-capacity battery, coupled with Xperia's unique power-saving design, delivers an impressive two-day battery life, keeping you powered up for longer.
