Bandai Fashion Collection (Bancolle!), Bandai Japan's dedicated line for character-themed apparel and lifestyle goods, just dropped some exciting news today (Jan 24)! They're commercializing the knit cap worn by protagonist Machuu in her pilot suit from the upcoming 2025 Gundam anime, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX." Now you can rock the same style as Machuu! Priced at 3,300 JPY, it's available for pre-order on Bandai's Premium Bandai website in Japan.

In "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," the protagonist, Machuu (real name: Amane Yoha), is a high school student living a seemingly peaceful daily life in a colony, yet she constantly grapples with a sense of unreality. Her encounter with Nean, a young smuggler, becomes the catalyst for her to become a "GQuuuuuuX" pilot and join the "Battle Team Showdown."

While Machuu typically sports loose sweaters and her high school uniform, official settings reveal she only dons this knit cap when piloting an MS in her pilot suit. The reason remains a mystery, but it appears to be something deeply significant to her.

This knit cap faithfully recreates the design by original illustrator Take. Crafted with a cozy knit, it promises excellent warmth, complete with a fluffy pom-pom on top. It also features two distinct, unexplained emblems on the front and back, leaving fans to wonder if they hold a secret within the anime's plot!
