The iconic RPG series Dragon Quest has been captivating fans for 38 years, maintaining immense popularity and solidifying its status as one of SQUARE ENIX's flagship titles.

SQUARE ENIX Japan recently unveiled a stunning new collectible: a Slime-shaped teapot crafted from traditional Nambu Ironware. This deep blue masterpiece, born from centuries-old craftsmanship, will first be available at the official store during the "Dragon Quest Carnival in Nihonbashi" event, running from February 1 to March 16, 2025. Following the event, it will see a general release on the SQUARE ENIX e-STORE.

For over 900 years, Nambu Ironware has been a celebrated metal craft originating from Iwate Prefecture, Japan. This traditional art form, known for its exquisite cast iron products meticulously created through time-honored manual casting methods, is truly a national treasure.

Now, the beloved Dragon Quest monster, the Slime, gets a sophisticated makeover as a functional teapot. This iron kettle embraces the Slime's iconic silhouette, adorned with a deep, serene blue finish. The surface proudly displays the unique textures left by the iron-firing process, highlighting the distinct charm and flavor of traditional craftsmanship. Plus, the handle is easily detachable, blending both aesthetic appeal and practical use.
