In a statement, Page shared that filming the game was one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences of his career. He added that the game's rich narrative and emotional depth provide an excellent foundation, and the team hopes to create a unique perspective for the characters and their journey, resonating with both new and long-time fans. Original game director David Cage expressed his excitement about collaborating with Elliot Page once again, stating that he was deeply impressed by Page's performance in the game and couldn't imagine anyone else telling the story with the same passion across other media platforms.
