Noah Hawley (pictured below), widely acclaimed for creating the TV series "Fargo" and "Legion," primarily works as a screenwriter and novelist. While he occasionally takes on directing duties for episodes of his own shows, he also made his feature directorial debut in 2019 with "Lucy in the Sky." Now, six years later, Hawley is set to return to the director's chair for his second self-written and directed feature film.

Variety exclusively reported today that Hawley's next directorial project is titled "Nowhere Fast," which he also penned. Chris Pine is confirmed to star, portraying a small-town Texas criminal who accidentally kills his boss's nephew. This marks Pine's return to a Texas-born criminal role, following his acclaimed performance in "Hell or High Water." Before production on "Nowhere Fast" officially begins, Hawley is slated to release his long-gestating "Alien" FX series this summer.
