Remember when "TRIGUN STAMPEDE" hit screens in January 2023? The fresh anime adaptation of Yasuhiro Nightow's iconic manga, TRIGUN, definitely put the classic back on everyone's radar.
Last July, we got the exciting news that a sequel was in the works, heading towards the series' grand finale. And today (March 20), the official word dropped: the concluding chapter, TRIGUN STARGAZE, is set to premiere in 2026! They've also unveiled the new production crew, though a specific release date is still under wraps.

Yasuhiro Nightow's TRIGUN manga first kicked off in "Monthly Shonen Captain" back in 1995. After the magazine folded, it went on hiatus before relaunching as "TRIGUN MAXIMUM" in "Young King OURs" in 1997. The series has seen previous anime adaptations, with the latest, "TRIGUN STAMPEDE", premiering on January 7, 2023, animated by the brilliant minds at Orange.

What's really turning heads this time around is the almost complete overhaul of the production team from the "TRIGUN STAMPEDE" era.
Masako Sato, known for her extensive storyboard work, is stepping into the director's chair. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who penned the scripts for "Ishuzoku Reviewers", is taking over series composition. And for character design? They've brought in Kiyotaka Oshiyama, director of "Look Back"! It definitely looks like the official team is aiming for a fresh new vibe with "TRIGUN STARGAZE".

For now, all we know is that the final chapter, "TRIGUN STARGAZE", is slated for a 2026 debut. Keep those eyes peeled for more official announcements, fans! The wait will surely be worth it!
