Kishida Mel Designs Cafe Uniforms, Then 'Personally Models' Them – Fans Go Wild: 'Now THAT'S an Illustrator!'

If you're into ACG, you've probably heard of illustrator Kishida Mel. Known for his delicate brushwork, Kishida-sensei's portfolio includes the "Atelier Arland" trilogy, "Heaven's Memo Pad," and "Hanasaku Iroha," among others. But what really gets fans talking is his love for cross-dressing, earning him the title of the true "Bishōjo Illustrator"!

Recently, he showed up at his own themed cafe, for which he designed the server uniforms, and even donned the outfit himself to serve customers! Photos he uploaded to his personal X account immediately blew up online, with tons of fans now desperate to visit.

The themed cafe "neusick" in Akihabara opened this past weekend, and to celebrate, producer Kishida Mel himself was on duty, serving customers in uniform and giving everyone a firsthand look at the "Bishōjo Illustrator" in action.

Now, take a look at Kishida Mel next to the cute uniform-clad girl he drew. Who would *you* rather have serve you? (Hmm?)

And comparing him to the actual female servers... are you *still* hesitating? (C'mon!)

With legs and even armpits on display, fans couldn't handle it, exclaiming, "Now THAT'S an illustrator!" Clearly, this is the true spirit of a "Bishōjo Illustrator" LOL.

▼ Can't wait to see you all! ♡♡♡

The cafe also sold acrylic standees featuring Kishida's "that classic cosplay" and illustrations of the cafe uniform characters. Naturally, the cosplay version sold out instantly! XD

Even in the cafe uniform, he still had to pull off "that classic cosplay".

And of course, the servers joined him for a heart-pose group photo. Honestly, it looks totally natural! LOL

Unfortunately, Kishida Mel only attended the opening events from the 21st to the 23rd. But who knows, he might pop up as the owner again! If you're ever in Akihabara, it's definitely worth checking out!
