A lost Jolteon plushie, forgotten on a train, finally made its way back home after a frantic search, and the heartwarming story has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter).
The tale began when the wife of entertainer Eiji Sugiyama revealed that her 4-year-old son had accidentally left his cherished Pokémon character, Jolteon, on a train seat. "The worst thing imaginable just happened... 30 minutes ago, mini Eiji Sugiyama got off the Yamanote Line at Nippori Station and left Jolteon behind," she posted, describing her panic and heartbreak at the time.

Since the Yamanote Line is a loop, she clung to the hope that the plushie might just circle back. She decided to stay at the station, watching train after train come and go. But as minutes turned into what felt like hours, Jolteon was nowhere to be seen.
Even with the help of station staff, the plushie remained elusive, and her hope began to dwindle. She decided to give it one last shot, standing on the platform, waiting for the next train. Just as she was about to give up, there it was! The familiar yellow plushie—Jolteon—suddenly appeared on a luggage rack on the platform! A kind passenger had placed it there for safekeeping.
Upon spotting the plushie, she shrieked with joy, "I found it!" Fellow passengers cheered alongside her, exclaiming, "That's amazing!" This reunion not only brought her and her son immense relief but also touched the hearts of everyone who witnessed it.
Eiji Sugiyama later took to social media to express his gratitude: "This is fantastic, Jolteon is back from its adventure! Huge thanks to the kind soul who placed it on the rack!"
This heartwarming tale struck a chord with netizens, with comments pouring in expressing their emotions: "It's so wonderful for a lost item to return to its owner," and "Watching Jolteon reunite with its owner almost brought tears to my eyes." The story is a powerful reminder that a little kindness and persistence can truly work wonders.
