This year marks the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and the official word is that a ton of events are about to kick off! This celebration also ties into last year's Mobile Fighter G Gundam and next year's After War Gundam X, forming a continuous GWX trilogy commemoration.
And to get the party started, Japanese anime merchandise retailer MOVIC has just announced a new music box collection featuring the absolute classic opening theme, "JUST COMMUNICATION." This must-have item will retail for 4,400 JPY and will be available for pre-order at Animate flagship stores, their official website, and MOVIC's online shop.
For those in the know, "JUST COMMUNICATION" was the legendary opening theme for the original Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series. Performed by TWO-MIX, the duo composed of Minami Takayama and lyricist/composer Shiina Nagano, its signature electronic sound captivated countless fans. It's truly one of those iconic anime tracks that everyone knows and loves. Even today, TWO-MIX's other contributions to the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series, like "RHYTHM EMOTION" and "WHITE REFLECTION," remain unforgettable.
