GOOD SMILE COMPANY, a Japanese figure manufacturer, has announced the latest additions to its affordable pre-painted figure series『POP UP PARADE』:「POP UP PARADE SP Akira」and「POP UP PARADE SP Rin」, based on miHoYo's action role-playing game Zenless Zone Zero, are scheduled for release in October 2025.
In the game, players take on the roles of the siblings「Akira」and「Rin」, experts in dealing with Hollows and legendary 'Proxy' known as『Phaeton』. They typically run a video rental store called「Random Play」on Sixth Street in New Eridu, supplementing their income and expanding their network. Upon receiving a Proxy commission, they can use the Hollow Deep Dive System to enter complex Hollows and manipulate the Bangboo「Aies」to precisely calculate routes for their clients.
This release utilizes the『POP UP PARADE SP』specifications, which feature more refined sculpting and paintwork than the standard series. It brings the in-game appearances of the siblings Akira and Rin to life, faithfully recreating their distinctive hairstyles, outfits, and poses that showcase their personalities. Not only are rich details such as zippers, buttons, and shoelaces meticulously sculpted, but the deep blue and bright orange contrasting outfits, as well as the distinctive「Qi Caizi」pattern on Rin's chest, are also reproduced through paint and printing.
