BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest tenth installment in its "Mobile Suit Gundam" themed candy toy series, "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM". The product, "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM VOL.10", is scheduled for release in September 2025.
"MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM" continues the design concept of another Gundam candy toy series, "G-FRAME", creating popular Mobile Suits from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series in an approximately 3-head-tall proportion. It utilizes a common "MOBILITY JOINT" articulated frame structure, boasting around 20 points of articulation throughout the body. The exterior armor also features a high density of details different from the original settings. Once all parts and stickers are assembled, you will have a Mobile Suit approximately 70mm tall.
This product continues the lineup from the ninth installment, "Z Gundam", featuring not only the early AEUG Mobile Suits "Rick Dias" and "Rick Dias (Quattro Bajeena's Custom)", but also introducing the "ZZ Gundam" piloted by protagonist Judau Ashta and the "Qubeley" piloted by final antagonist Haman Karn from the sequel, "Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ".
・ZZ Gundam A (Core Top)
・ZZ Gundam B (Core Base)
・ZZ Gundam EX Parts
The ZZ Gundam is divided into three parts: Core Top, Core Base, and EX Parts. By swapping parts and performing partial transformation, the two fighters can combine into "ZZ Gundam" or "G-Fortress Mode". The EX Parts include additional armor, backpack missile pods, the Hyper Mega Cannon, and other armaments, allowing the ZZ Gundam to be re-equipped as the "Full Armor ZZ Gundam".
・Qubeley
・Qubeley EX Parts
The Qubeley recreates Mamoru Nagano's elegant curves in a low-head-tall proportion. Due to its unique fuselage design, dedicated frame parts are used to reproduce the shoulder armor and head connection. The main body armament includes beam sabers, while its most distinctive weapon, "Funnel x10", is included in the EX Parts, and can be displayed in a swirling firing scene using a dedicated stand.
・Rick Dias (Quattro Bajeena's Custom)
・Rick Dias
・Rick Dias EX Parts
The two Rick Dias units are essentially identical except for their molded part colors. They feature rich detail and reproduce the substantial leg silhouette, with beam pistols included as armament. The EX Parts include two "Clay Bazookas" that can be used by both units, as well as dedicated parts to transform the Rick Dias (Quattro Bajeena's Custom) into the "Schuzrum Dias".
