As Star Wars Celebration 2025 grandly commenced today (18th) at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, even though we're not there in person, we believe all toy enthusiasts can feel a powerful Force! In this article, we'll take a look at the new Star Wars-themed Premium Format Figure series release from the European and American sculpting brand Sideshow Collectibles: the "Cad Bane" full-body statue. It is expected to begin shipping in Q4 2025, with both a regular and an exclusive edition being released simultaneously, priced at US$860 and US$880 respectively.
Cad Bane is a blue-skinned Duros bounty hunter. Among the many bounty hunters in the Star Wars saga, his strength is absolutely top-tier. He excels at attacking with dual blasters, and his Western cowboy-style appearance, along with his lightning-fast draw and rapid firing, are Cad Bane's signature characteristics!
Cad Bane has not only appeared in recent Star Wars series like The Book of Boba Fett but also in animated shows such as The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch. His performance in The Clone Wars, in particular, left a deep impression due to his toughness, calmness, and strategic mind. He is a formidable foe not to be underestimated!
This 57 cm tall Cad Bane statue captures his cool demeanor standing amidst desert dust, red eyes fixed forward. His iconic wide-brimmed hat, weathered duster coat, specialized breathing apparatus, leg-mounted jet boots, holsters, and ammunition belts are all sculpted with rich detail. Coupled with the dynamic sculpt of his flowing coat and the sand-dust effects on the base, the entire piece exudes an explosive visual tension. However, seeing the droid Todo 360 hiding nearby instantly lightens the mood (laughs).
The EX version includes an interchangeable left hand holding a double-barreled blaster and an empty holster part, allowing you to display Cad Bane in his classic dual-wielding combat pose, unleashing his full power!!
It's worth noting that "A Few Bounties More" in the product title is clearly a homage to the Western film For a Few Dollars More from the 1964-1966 Dollars Trilogy. How interesting! It truly suits Cad Bane perfectly.
