Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean, who famously united as part of the Fellowship in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, are set to reunite this year in the gangster undercover comedy "Deep Cover." The film recently dropped its first trailer and is slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 12.

Set in London, "Deep Cover" follows a police officer who recruits three improv comedians for an undercover mission. These actors must infiltrate the heart of the underground criminal world, relying on their performance instincts without ever breaking character. An unfulfilled comedy acting teacher, along with her two students, agrees to join the operation.

"Deep Cover" is directed by British TV series helmer Tom Kingsley. The screenplay was conceived by a quartet: Derek Connolly, screenwriter for the "Jurassic World" trilogy; Colin Trevorrow, director of "Jurassic World"; and Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen, members of the British improv comedy duo The Pin.

The film's additional cast includes Paddy Considine, Sonoya Mizuno, Ian McShane, Nick Mohammed, and Bryce Dallas Howard, who previously collaborated with Trevorrow and Connolly on the "Jurassic World" franchise.
