Following the debut of its first-look images just days ago, Warner Bros. has now dropped the first official trailer and teaser poster for "The Conjuring: Last Rites," the fourth installment and final chapter in the core "Conjuring" saga.
Michael Chaves, who previously directed "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It," "The Nun II," and "The Curse of La Llorona," returns to helm the final chapter. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, the screenwriter behind the second and third "Conjuring" films, is also back to pen the script.

Set in 1986, five years after the events of the last film, the story is based on the infamous Smurl haunting case. The Warrens have since retired from paranormal investigation, largely due to the toll it has taken on Ed Warren's health following his heart attack in the previous movie. However, a terrifying new case forces them back into the fray one last time.
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as Lorraine and Ed Warren. Newcomers to the cast include Mia Tomlinson as their daughter, Judy Warren, and Ben Hardy as Judy's boyfriend. The film is slated to hit theaters on September 5.
