To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the legendary Dragon Ball series, Shueisha announced an incredible new collector's item on May 9th—Goku Day—the "DRAGON BALL Complete 42-Volume Set: Double Cover Box."
The set comes in a special collector's box featuring the classic continuous spine art from both the original and revised editions of the manga. But the real treasure is inside: each volume comes with an alternate dust jacket from the "DRAGON BALL SUPER GALLERY" project, featuring a cover redrawn by a different legendary manga artist. That's 42 volumes, each with a swappable tribute cover. The entire set is priced at ¥31,800 and is now available for pre-order.
This DRAGON BALL Complete 42-Volume Set: Double Cover Box is absolutely packed with fan service. In addition to the complete 42-volume original manga, you get a second, swappable "double cover" for every single book, created by 42 of the biggest names in the industry!
