Japanese figure manufacturer ALTER, renowned for its high quality and beloved by high-end bishoujo figure collectors, has announced the latest scale figure product from the popular mobile game《Fate/Grand Order》, the "Saber/Altria Pendragon [Alter] Twilight Star Ver.", slated for release in March 2026.
Altria's Alter form (Black Saber) first appeared in the "Heaven's Feel" route of《Fate/stay night》. She was absorbed by Sakura Matou, who became the "Black Holy Grail", and her body was corrupted by "all the evils in the world". This materialized her past doubts, self-reproach, and anger, transforming her into a cold, powerful tyrant, even her Holy Sword turning black into a Demonic Sword. Due to her connection with Sakura Matou, who became the Holy Grail, Black Saber possesses nearly infinite magical energy, allowing her to continuously unleash the black-tinged "Excalibur Morgan".
The "Saber/Altria Pendragon [Alter] Twilight Star Ver." is produced at 1/7 scale, with a total length of approximately 27 cm. It reinterprets Black Saber's elegant seated pose from her "Final Ascension" illustration in the game, depicting her in a gorgeous, jet-black dress, holding Excalibur Morgan.
The overall sculpt delicately captures Black Saber's slender and beautiful S-shaped figure. Her slightly scornful and indifferent smile presents a charm opposite to that of Altria. The Excalibur Morgan in her hand features highly saturated red paint details, expressing the original work's dark, ominous worldview.
The figure allows for two different skirt styles—long and short—through interchangeable parts. The long skirt, spread radially across the ground, uses indigo, black, and silver to depict the differences between inner and outer layers, the play of light and shadow on the outer layer, and the gorgeous patterns on the hem. The extremely three-dimensional and intricate wrinkle details convey the luster, smoothness, and volume of high-quality fabric.
The short skirt version, on the other hand, draws more attention to Black Saber's slender figure and snow-white skin tone, revealing a delicate and charming side in her lighter attire.
