The third and final trailer for "M3GAN 2.0" dropped today, confirming the sequel's wild genre shift. While previous footage already teased a heavy focus on action, this new look solidifies the film's transformation from horror into a full-blown sci-fi action movie. The trailer's biggest reveal is a new invention beyond just androids: wearable powered armor for humans.
The story takes a page from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," with M3GAN now positioned as a heroic protector. She faces off against AMELIA, a deadly new android played by Ivanna Sakhno. Originally designed as a military weapon, AMELIA has gone rogue and is now hunting down her creators with a vengeance.

"M3GAN 2.0" sees the return of the original creative team, with Gerard Johnstone back in the director's chair and Akela Cooper penning the script. The original cast is also back, including Violet McGraw, Allison Williams, Amie Donald (as M3GAN's physical performer), and Jenna Davis (as the voice of M3GAN). New additions to the cast include Jemaine Clement and Timm Sharp. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27.
