For over three decades, media outlets have frequently reported on a rumored rift between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, who famously co-starred in the classic vampire film "Interview with the Vampire" (1994). The alleged animosity supposedly stemmed from their time filming together, leading to a reluctance to share the screen again. However, while promoting "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning," Cruise recently not only ">actively promoted Pitt's upcoming Formula 1 racing film but also reminisced about their go-karting rivalry during the "Interview with the Vampire" shoot, praising Pitt as a skilled driver.

Following Cruise's public olive branch, Pitt, who has been busy promoting his new film "F1," was asked by the media about Cruise's endorsement. Pitt responded, "He's a good guy. He's really sweet. We actually did go-karting back in the nineties, and I have to say, he ended up being faster than me; he totally beat me." When pressed about a potential future collaboration, Pitt humorously replied, "Well, I don't want to be hanging off airplanes or doing anything like that. So, when he comes back to do a film that's just on the ground, then I'll be there."
