Japanese high-end figure manufacturer CCP has announced its latest collaboration project, "CCP×Yoshi. Project," with renowned Japanese sculptor Yoshi. The fifth installment will feature a pre-painted resin cast figure of "EVA Unit-13"! The suggested retail price is 48,180 JPY, available for pre-order at the CCP ONLINE SHOP, with an estimated release in February 2026.
The "CCP×Yoshi. Project," reinterpreted with the unique and grotesque style of genius sculptor Yoshi., presents its fifth installment, "EVA Unit-13." This high-quality PS hard plastic model stands approximately 47 cm tall, making it the largest in the series. It is inspired by the unforgettable awakening scene in "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo," where the cross-shaped armor on its chest unlocks to reveal a second pair of arms, wielding two spears, showcasing a form akin to a descending god of creation and destruction!
While maintaining Unit-13's silhouette, it is imbued with Yoshi.'s alien, biological aesthetic, with sharp, claw-like hands and feet, and intricate details of muscles and spine across its body, giving it a more organic, creature-like appearance. To enhance the profoundness of the entire piece, a complex, multi-layered gradient paint application is used, emphasizing shadow expression with delicate shading and subtle luster, creating a unique texture difficult to replicate in standard figures.
It includes interchangeable magnetic upper body parts, allowing for display in both "Four-Armed (Berserk Mode)" and "Two-Armed (Normal Mode)," recreating the yellow eyes and body lines when not in berserk state; the two arms on the chest are also folded, thus the shape and color of the chest armor differ from the four-armed version, striving to fully express the overall texture and quality.
The "Four-Armed (Berserk Mode)" features an open-mouthed sculpt, with four glowing red eyes, presenting a highly detailed effect. The normal arms and the arms usually hidden internally are sculpted differently, allowing one to appreciate the textural differences between the two types of arms.
