BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar," the "GaoGaiGar Clear Color Ver.", joining their popular assembly model Shokugan series, "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT". It is scheduled for release in November 2025.
GaoGaiGar is the strongest mechanical lifeform, formed when the cyborg protagonist Guy Shishioh fuses with the space mechanical lion Galeon to transform into GaiGar, and then combines with the three GaoMachines developed by Earth's GGG Mobile Unit: Stealth Gao, Liner Gao, and Drill Gao. Its left and right hands are each equipped with attack and defense energy, and by combining these offensive and defensive powers, it can unleash the incredibly destructive special move "Hell and Heaven."
The "SMP GaoGaiGar Clear Color Ver." is based on a modification of the previously released standard version, with all white, black, red, blue, and yellow parts replaced by clear colors, presenting a beautiful, highly translucent, crystal-like luster.
Aside from the colors, the design is fundamentally the same as the previously released SUPER MINIPLA version. The kit allows for the assembly of Galeon, Stealth Gao, Liner Gao, and Drill Gao. Galeon can transform into its GaiGar form, featuring not only flexible articulated joints but also the ability to combine individually with the three GaoMachines into various forms.
Through a design that closely replicates the in-show transformation and combination mechanism, and by swapping some parts, it can combine into GaoGaiGar. While maintaining its cool appearance, it also boasts a considerable range of articulation. Accessories include the "Broken Magnum" weapon, which can be equipped on the left arm, and a set of posed hands to recreate the special move "Hell and Heaven."
