The action figure brand "MAFEX," released by the renowned Japanese toy company MEDICOM TOY, recently announced several new products. This article will feature the "T-800 (T2 Ver.) & John Connor" from "Terminator 2"! It is scheduled for release in April 2026, with a suggested retail price of 19,800 JPY (tax included).
"Terminator 2" continues the story from the first film. After Skynet failed to assassinate Sarah Connor, it sent the newer and stronger T-1000 to 1995 to kill Sarah Connor's son, the future leader of humanity, John Connor. The human resistance, in turn, sent a T-800 Terminator, identical to the one from the first film but modified, to protect John.
After releasing figures such as T-800, T-800 Battle Damaged Ver., and Endoskeleton, MAFEX brings back the "Terminator 2" version of the T-800 once again, but this time he is accompanied by John Connor, the future leader of humanity. Compared to the original T2 version of the T-800, this release also includes a head sculpt with sunglasses, and a newly sculpted battle-damaged bare-face head sculpt, with the inner shirt now presented in black. John Connor's figure meticulously recreates actor Edward Furlong's delicate facial features and his appearance from the film.
▼ Accessories include a shotgun, a pistol, John Connor's blue backpack, a rose box used to conceal the shotgun, and an Endoskeleton wrist part!
