Last Sunday, "The Fast Saga" patriarch Vin Diesel, alongside Tyrese Gibson (who plays Roman) and Paul Walker's brother Cody Walker, attended the Fuel Fest auto show in Pomona, California. Diesel surprised the massive crowd by announcing several key details about the upcoming "Fast & Furious 11," the series' grand finale, sending fans into a frenzy.

Diesel revealed to attendees that he had just concluded a meeting with Universal Pictures. He stated that Universal had requested him, as both the star and producer, to expedite production to meet an April 2027 release date. However, Diesel presented Universal with three conditions to fulfill this request: first, the film must return to Los Angeles for shooting; second, the story's core focus must revert to street racing; and third, Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner must reunite.
While a return to Los Angeles and a focus on street racing have been long-standing calls from the cast and crew, the most explosive of Diesel's three conditions is undoubtedly the last. Given Paul Walker's passing, a return for Brian O'Conner would almost certainly necessitate the use of CGI to bring the character back, with Cody Walker, who served as a motion-capture actor and stand-in for his brother to complete "Furious 7," highly likely to reprise his role.
