BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced the latest product from its 'METAL ROBOT Damashii' series, which combines metallic paint finishes and alloy frames. The "Strike Freedom Gundam [Re:Coordinate] Exclusive Wings of Light & Full Burst Effect Set" from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY is scheduled for release in December 2025.
The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam is the mobile suit piloted by protagonist Kira Yamato in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY. Equipped with the Hyper Deuterion Engine, which generates a massive amount of energy, it can deploy numerous high-power beam weapons such as High-Energy Beam Rifles, "Xiphias 3" Rail Cannons, and the "Callidus" Multi-phase Beam Cannon. Furthermore, its back features the "Super DRAGOON" Mobile Weapon Wings, which utilize a total of 8 "Beam Assault Cannons" (four on each side) to launch all-range attacks. Combined with Kira's abilities as a Coordinator, it can simultaneously lock onto a large number of enemy units.
This product is an accessory set re-released to complement the "METAL ROBOT Damashii Strike Freedom Gundam [Re:Coordinate]," which features renewed colors and body markings. The set includes Wings of Light effects, Full Burst effects, and a dedicated stand. Compared to previous versions, it features new paint colors to match the Re:Coordinate Strike Freedom Gundam main unit.
The four Wings of Light effect parts feature a new purple-toned gradient paint finish, which can be attached to the Strike Freedom Gundam's deployed wings to recreate its powerful stance. The Full Burst effects can be attached to the "Callidus" Multi-phase Beam Cannon on the abdomen, the "Xiphias 3" Rail Cannons on both sides, the two High-Energy Beam Rifles, and all 8 "Beam Assault Cannons," recreating the Full Burst mode with all weapons firing.
