Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer Ember Toys has announced the latest addition to their popular chibi-style sofubi line, the "Chibi Creature" series. Coming from the anime "SSSS.GRIDMAN", the new "Gashinshoutan Kaiju Anti (Monster State)" is slated for release in September 2025.
Anti is the Gashinshoutan Kaiju created by Akane Shinjo solely to defeat Gridman. Its design is based on the "Ninja Kaiju Shinobilar" from the 1993 live-action series. Anti possesses the ability to transform into a human form, exhibiting self-awareness, hunger, and speech, making him indistinguishable from a normal child. However, in its monster state, Anti becomes a formidable opponent, capable of agile combat, firing energy projectiles from its body, and replicating opponents' abilities.
The "Chibi Creature Gashinshoutan Kaiju Anti (Monster State)" stands at a chibi-style 14 cm tall, faithfully recreating Anti's transformed monster appearance. Utilizing intricate sofubi molding techniques, the figure captures the alien-like details across its entire body, including its sharp claws and teeth. It boasts a luxurious multi-metallic paint application. The four claws on both arms are detachable, allowing for both extended and retracted states.
