COVER Corporation's VTuber agency brand, hololive, is making massive waves globally, with a constant stream of collaborations both at home and abroad. It's clear the VTuber craze isn't slowing down; if anything, it's spreading even further across the world.
Following last year's successful "hololive Night," hololive is teaming up with the Los Angeles Dodgers once again for a second event on July 5, 2025, at Dodger Stadium. This time, they're bringing an unprecedented VTuber live stream performance to the mix! It's set to draw in countless baseball fans and holo-fans alike, all gathering at Dodger Stadium for the ultimate VTuber x baseball dream collaboration.
The event will feature three popular hololive EN members: Ninomae Ina'nis, IRyS, and Koseki Bijou. They'll be creating an unparalleled live experience with the audience during an MLB regular season game.
Last year's inaugural "hololive Night" packed the stadium with tens of thousands of fans, offering exclusive merchandise, custom programming, and in-stadium effects. This year, they're leveling up to a global first: a "two-way stadium livestream"!
On the day of the event, global fans can tune in via the hololive English YouTube channel, while those at the stadium will get to see the three members appear, interact, and host segments live during the game.
When the game hits the middle of the seventh inning, Ina’nis, IRyS, and Bijou will lead the crowd in the classic baseball anthem, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," infusing this traditional moment with a full dose of VTuber flair.
After the game, fans can join the "WHO’S got the MOVES?!?!" dance party, featuring a playlist of popular hololive songs. Plus, fans are encouraged to cosplay at the stadium that day, so expect a massive turnout of dressed-up attendees!
And of course, there's the exclusive "Dodgers x hololive Limited Collaboration Merchandise," including special card packs featuring the members in Dodgers uniforms. Fans even have a chance to pull rare "printed autograph" versions, making them absolute must-haves for collectors.
The stadium will also host various VTuber-themed activities, such as life-sized standee photo zones and hololive-branded stadium snacks, ensuring fans can enjoy both their favorite stars and the game to the fullest.
Coincidentally, July 5th also marks the birthday of Dodgers' Japanese superstar Shohei Ohtani, and the official announcement reveals he's scheduled to start on the mound that day, celebrating his 31st birthday. Whether you're a baseball fanatic or a holo-fan, this is one game you won't want to miss!
