Japan's BANDAI toy company's GASHAPON division recently announced a new gashapon release that will evoke your nostalgic feelings: the "Mobile Suit Gundam Gashapon Senshi Die-cast Gundam Keshi" (tentative title)! Pre-orders are currently open on GASHAPON ONLINE, with an expected release in October 2025. The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, and there are a total of 12 types to collect.
The "Gashapon Senshi Series SD Gundam World" (ガシャポン戦士シリーズ SDガンダムワールド), commonly known as ガンケシ (Gundam Keshi) – mini Gundam figures made of rubber material that sparked a collecting craze in the 80s – are now recreated in modern times with gleaming die-cast material!
This work features a low-head SD proportion in a palm-sized 2.5 cm form. There are a total of six mobile suits: "RX-78-2 Gundam," "Guncannon," "Guntank," "Char's Zaku II," "Mass Production Type Zaku," and the Zeon military's large MA for space combat, "Zakrello." Each is presented in both gold and silver, making for a grand total of 12 types! The nostalgic, cute appearance combined with the weighty feel of the metallic material truly makes you want to collect and play with them! They can also be collected alongside the previously introduced "Mobile Suit Gundam Gashapon Senshi SD Ver.FRGMT."
