The popular 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE' series, released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, has revealed the detailed contents of its latest product, "Destiny Gundam Spec II & Zeus Silhouette," from the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM." Pre-orders are set to open on July 22, 2025.
The ZGMF/A-42S2 Destiny Gundam Spec II, piloted by Shin Asuka, is a new mobile suit secretly recovered by the Eternal after the Destiny Gundam was severely damaged in the previous war, then repaired and improved by Morgenroete with the latest technology. In addition to adopting a cutting-edge all-around cockpit and replacing the joint armor material, its power system has also been significantly improved. The substantial increase in energy has also resulted in a deeper color for its VPS armor. The weaponry remains largely unchanged, but it can now be equipped with the new enhanced armament, the "Zeus Silhouette," which utilizes an extremely large railgun of immense size and power.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE Destiny Gundam Spec II & Zeus Silhouette" includes both the Destiny Gundam Spec II main unit and the Zeus Silhouette accessories. The Destiny Gundam main unit features high-density armor details sculpted at a precise scale, recreating the mobile suit's characteristic "blood tears" eye design and vibrant red wings. It also comes with the Beam Boomerang in both stored and deployed states, the High-Energy Long-Range Beam Cannon, and the Beam Rifle held in its right hand.
By swapping parts, the Destiny Gundam Spec II can be recreated in its configuration equipped with the Zeus Silhouette. The leg thruster units, the super-large railgun, and the spare barrels on the back are produced with impressive size, color application, and marking prints, and can be displayed with the dedicated stand. However, the Zeus Silhouette's standalone flight form cannot be replicated.
