World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has unveiled a new Marvel Iron Man-themed product – the "Iron Man Mark III (Armor Suit Up Version)" 1/6th scale collectible figure, with a suggested retail price of HKD 2,980, available for pre-order soon!
One of the most memorable scenes from the 2008 film Iron Man is undoubtedly Tony's suit-up sequence, where intricate parts are assembled piece by piece by mechanical arms to form the Iron Man suit, a scene deeply etched in people's minds! This "Iron Man Mark III (Armor Suit Up Version)" is inspired by the classic moment in the film when Tony Stark first tests the armor. Crafted from alloy material, it features a paint application that faithfully recreates the Mark III's classic red and gold metallic colors. It boasts openable armor plates and newly designed internal mechanical details. Areas such as the chest, back flaps, shoulders, upper arms, abdomen, lower back, thighs, and calves can all be opened to simulate the armor-wearing process. The internal structure is electroplated, showcasing intricate mechanical aesthetics with a high-quality finish!
The entire figure features LED light-up functions in multiple areas, including the helmet's eyes, palms, the Arc Reactor on the chest, and the calves, emitting clear white and blue lights to give the armor an even stronger sense of technology! Accessories include a Tony Stark head sculpt with the mask lifted, three pairs of interchangeable hands, shoulder machine guns, forearm shield mode armor, forearm rocket launch mode armor, and more, allowing for various combat poses to be recreated with its articulation! Furthermore, the specially designed display stand is crafted in metallic red, silver, and gold, and features an LED light-up function in the base, which can illuminate the Iron Man suit from below, showcasing this exquisitely detailed armor!
