World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled a new product based on the classic horror film "Alien" – the "Alien: Big Chap" 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, with a suggested retail price of HKD 1,980, and pre-orders opening soon!
Released in 1979, "Alien," directed by Sir Ridley Scott, tells the story of the commercial interstellar cargo ship Nostromo, owned by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. While on its way back after completing a mission, it is diverted to investigate a distress signal from planet LV-426, where it unexpectedly encounters the terrifying extraterrestrial creature, the Alien. Its masterful storytelling and distinctive art design have made the series a cinematic classic, with sequels continuously released for over 40 years, and the TV series "Alien: Earth" is also set to premiere this year, which is highly anticipated!
This Alien: Big Chap 1/6 scale collectible figure stands approximately 36 cm tall, meticulously showcasing the design by the brilliant artist H.R. Giger! The main body features a newly developed skeletal structure combined with new silicone material, sculpted to restore the biomechanical feel of the torso and arms integrated with human bone structures. The exoskeleton textures, dorsal tubular structures, and the sharp bone spurs on the slender tail are all exquisitely reproduced! The head dome is made of translucent material, allowing clear visibility of the cranial details. The mouth features an articulated mechanism, allowing the retractable inner jaw to extend when opened, recreating its iconic attack pose! Accessories include four sets of interchangeable hands, including hands with bendable wires, which can be paired with the movie-themed display base to showcase its terrifying presence!
