Timothée Chalamet and director James Mangold, who last collaborated on the Bob Dylan biopic "A Complete Unknown" late last year, are already gearing up for their next project, "High Side," according to a Deadline exclusive today. The film is based on an unpublished short story by Jaime Oliveira and is described as a high-octane heist action thriller.

Chalamet is set to star as Billy, a former MotoGP racer with exceptional off-road motorcycle skills. After a devastating accident, Billy abandoned the sport to care for his drug-addicted father and manage the family auto repair shop. His life takes an unexpected turn when, shortly after his father's death, his estranged brother Cole—who is on the run from the FBI—reappears and proposes using Billy's talents to rob banks.
Cole assembles a crew, including a woman who becomes Billy's lover, and they begin to swiftly and precisely target banks across desert towns. As the stakes escalate, FBI agent Lennox, who shares a complex history with Cole, closes in. Meanwhile, the team is planning their most ambitious operation yet.
